    What is the boot media now?
    Do you have physical acces the the server?

    The boot media is a partition on the disk. I have physical access to the server.

    What version are you trying to update from?
    seems maybe a clean install is in order.

    Save your settings and configuration from the webGUI to your local PC, and do a new install using the CD iso.

    I have a data volume in the same disk I will not lose this ?

    No, unless you manually delete data, it will still be there.

    What is the diference between "settings" and "setup" ? Should I save the "settings" and "setup" to the same file ?

    basicly 'setup' file consists of everything you set up in SETUP tab of DSS V6 Web Gui, and accordingly 'configuration' is everything from CONFIGURATION tab. It is always wise to backup both.

    The upgrade is done but it complains this is a trial. How can I put my license inside ?
