    Default VG00 formatting

    I've got a new PERC controller and 4 drives. Created a RAID 10. In DSS, created VG001, and it's been formatting 2 days.

    Seems wrong. Any ideas?

    How much the capacity of your drives ?
    In general, creating a RAID take long time, sometimes a day or a day and a half, that depend on the size of capacity and the RAID type (0,1,5,6 ... ).

    Are you installing the DSSv6 on the same storage or running it from a USB flash memory ?
