Default How To Delete a Running Snapshot Task

I'have a problem on my system with a blocked snapshot task that not allow the replication task to work fine.

The snaphot task was started in thuesday 08 at 12.00, but now the status is the following:

    snap00000
    Snapshot
    2011-09-08 12:00:06

    LV:lv0000
    Status:
    in use/active
    Size:50.00 GB
    Usage:32.00%

There is a method to stop and remove this task?

    Thank you in advance
    Best Regards

To delete a task, you should go to the GUI (Maintenance->Snapshot) then press on the plus sign next to the volume group name, and click on the snapshot.

At the end of the page "Schedules for snapshot task" you will see list of all tasks and next to each task there will be a red "X" for deleting the task.

    Default another question

Thank you Al-S for the fast reply,

In your opinion the cause of this issue can be the low space available on the volume?

The following is the space occupation:

    lv0000

    total 1712.00 GB

    occuped 1533.41 GB 89.6%

    free 178.59 GB 10,4%

    Best Regards.

It is always recommended to have a fair free space, also sometimes rebooting the system can fix such issues.

Thanks you, unfortunately reboot this storage is not easy, is the production storage.

This night I'll let him retry replication task. At the same time i've already asked to my customer to delete useless file.

    Best regards,

P.s. I'll give you a feed back as soon as possible. Thanks again,
