I have a question about command shel. Is there planned some kind of root account for command shell? Is it planned ? Will there be support for MPIO FC target ?

I have another question. Is there a way to upgrade firmware of HDD ? Linux has such tools and LSI controllers also have such a feature.

You can run your system with a Linux from a CD or other tools that update the HDD firmware, and you can update it, then reboot your system with Open-E system.
