I'm looking at using Open-E in a similar configuration to VMware's new VSA. I'd like to replicate from our production host to an on-site (LAN) DR host. However, our DR host is about 2 generations behind our production host. Obviously our performance will be impacted when we failover to our DR host, but will performance be affected when running on the production server due to the slower mirror?
