That makes sense to me. I think my problem is that the "Mail alert configuration" option in the Areca Management screen of the DSS interface brings up a blank page instead of being able to configure the settings. Is this a known issue?

make sure to have the most recent firmware on the controller, and choose both boxes and click apply.
