Dell Openmanage support DSS

Hi Gr-R,

It works but is incredibly slow. Isn't it possible for the Open-E Support Team to install it on my box? It's nothing more then a few commands and it gives me many many more options to maintain this storage unit.

the Dell openmanage software is not compatible with DSS to be installed, there is no Debian/Ubuntu version.

Could you perhaps in PM expain which version of Ubuntu / Debian you use as core? I'll give Dell ProSupport a call tomorrow (we buy a lot of Dell hardware) so I'll see what I can do about that.

Dell will probably tell you something along the lines of run the Centos livecd and you can run OpenManage locally or remotely.
