Default Using LCD with DSS V6 Lite

    Hello,

i try to write in english: I started my first installation of a DSS V6 lite Edition on an Supermicro 1U Server. All works in this first install for testing without problems, but i have seen that open-e could work with a crystal graphics 631 usb lcd - but how could i install the drivers??

the second option would be to use a pyramid usb lcd display, but i think that the drivers are not installed?

thank you for any answers. regards hahni

We are supporting only CFA-631 LCD display.

    http://www.crystalfontz.com/products/631/index.html

Once you have this you access the Console screen and enter CTRL ALT W then select LCD functionality then select the "mtxorb".

thanks for your answer, but allow me two questions:

    in the hcl list:

    - pyramid lcd display

    works this display too?

and the second questions: the matrix orbital is a serial display, but i don't understand because the crystal graphics is an usb display.
    thanks a lot

We dont have this in our labs to verify only from what we heard and is listed in our HCL as "CC - Confirmed by customer/community".

i checked the installation with a crystal graphics 631 USB like you wrote above and activated the matrix orbital option, but then i could change between the serial pot 1 -4. i checked the port 1 but nothing happened??

Normally you install to the USB port and it should work.
