    Hi there!

@cloudtech: Did you test it? Any succes / advise?

@Gr-R: Is the update available at kb-open-e? Do I have to submit a ticket to get it as well.
We are testeing with a set of up90 storages right now.
We are planning to update our other storages to up90 as well asap.
So the version should be runnung for up90.

Will the functionality be available in the standard soon?

    Thanks

Sorry for late reply. I haven't had a chance to test it since I could not apply the patch to existing build b5794 or upgrade to the latest build . Gr-R suggest me to re-install the DSS software, but I haven't had a time to do it.

You will need to submit a support ticket to get the small update.
I can make the update available for the following builds:
    5377
    5626
    5794
    5845

    Thumbs up

Between Christmas and New Year we updated all our storages to up90 (5845).
All the machines (VM) and the data residing on the storages have been available during the updateprocess due to the failoversystem we are using.

It worked flawless, thanks for that.

I will submit a support ticket to get the small update and report results later.

Am I right in assuming that this update includes the most needed function for DSS?

So after this update i can add some harddisks, configure my failover task for this drives, and add it to the failover without the need of shuting it down? No need to shutdown 20 VMs when adding a single drive to the SAN?

Well, i'm on up85 5794, where can i get this update?
