Default MGE/Eaton UPS support - help

On my vendor's advice I purchased an Eaton EX 3000 to support my failover NAS pair. However, now I see it is not on the HCL. This UPS was previously the MGE Pulsar M. Is there an equivalent model I can choose in DSS6 Setup? So far no luck.

Also, help my understanding. I want NAS1 (Master) to be connected to the UPS (Com/USB) and for it to then control NAS2 (slave). That how it should work?

One solution, I suppose, is I could get the Network Management Card (66102). Presumably this would work as SNMP connection? Any experience there?

    On 6.0up55.8102.5087/64bit
