DSS v6 and Active Directory

Hi All,

I tried to create a share with my AD server this morning.

I can get to the share via IP, but I can't get to it via name.

I see my users and groups correctly thru the Web GUI.

I can ping the SAN by name.

Am I missing something here?

Do you have forward and reverse DNS settings in the ADS server set to the DSS V6?

I didn't have the reverse lookup record created. I created one just now. Is there something I can do to "refresh" it?

Does anyone else have any further items for me to check or change for this issue?

With proper DNS entries, this should work.
Give the DNS time to propagate.

Did you add the DSS V6 server into the AD computers?

Yes, it's in the correct OU.
