    Default OCZ RevoDrive

    Has anyone tried DSS with OCZ Z-Drive R4 CM88 800GB PCI-E PCI-Express 2.0 x8 MLC Enterprise Solid State Disk?

I've been contemplating getting on, but I want to know if DSS will recognize it and use it to it's full ability.

I have a storage network backed by 10GbE, so I'm not so concerned with network bottlenecks.

I suppose if it is simply presented to the OS as a regular drive, it should work.
But at over $5K per drive, its not something we have tested.

But how would the OCZ device driver be installed?

    Good point....

I assumed it would be presented.

Can OP verify if there is open source driver, maybe I can make it happen...

I'd like to revive this thread. I now have a RevoDrive 3 X2 in my possession and would like to install it on one of my DSS6 boxes (a Supermicro X7DB8+ based system). Does anyone know if it will be recognized by DSS?

Bummer, I guess I'll just install it on a Windows box.
