Installing as VM Appliance

I have started to install DSSv6 as an appliance on ESXi 4. However if I choose the VMXNET3 network card as shown in the webinar then it does not show any network cards in DSS. Is there am update I need?

Trying to understand what benefit an appliance like this one is. What do you use for data storage?

In the setup you can have to EXSi hosts with lots of memory and disks and use open-e in an iscsi failover using the Esx servers hardware. This means only two physical servers not 4 also the 10GBe cards do not need a switch and means less cards as well. Starwind software has a similar product setup for windows hyper-v
