Default Failure to detect media available for instalation.

I have installed Open-E on a KVM machine and on older hardware.

When trying to install on newer hardware it fails to identify the media available
for instalation. It stops on the following screen:

Installation unsuccessful. You can finish now or
press BACK button in order to install software on
    another medium.

    < Reboot > < Shutdown > < Back >

If I select Back, it will show momentarilly an error message and go again to this screen.

What is relevant about the hardware?

The server have two LSI controller, 16 SATA disks, one virtual floppy and one virtual CD-ROM.

What type of media are you installing to?

I would like to install to one of the SATA disks.

But I don't get the option to choose what media to install.

Please find the following KB that contain a PDF file that should help you how to setup your DSSv6:
    http://kb.open-e.com/How-to-upgrade-to-DSS-V6_712.html

And did you create a 2GB LUN so you can install DSSv6 on it, and keep the other storage size for your data? You may install DSSv6 on a USB flash memory and test it on your system to be sure that your system is working fine.

It only worked when I unpluged all the SATA disks minus 1. Then the installer could identify the USB flash memory and the SATA disk as available for installation.

    Thank you for your help.
