    Default Eventviewer shows no words or phrases, only letters, numbers and some codes.

    Hello,

    our storage with DSS V6, 6.0up90.8101.5845 64bit, crashed 2 times so far.

    Now we want to find and correct the error, but the event viewer shows in the "errors" only code, letters, numbers, such as

    -> "[<ffffffff80249970>] ... (0/1)"
    -> "[8173640.908313] Code: 80 79 2c 00 ba 0e 00 00 00 79 24 44 0f b6 81 ac 00 00 00 89 51 28 48 c7 c6 12 2d 21 a0 48 c7 c7 ... (0/1)"

    Here is a screenshot of it:

    However, this is only for "errors", but not for "All", "warnings" and "information".

    Any advice or suggestions?

    Note: A reboot is not as easy as it run 12 VMs (servers and clients), productive.

    With best wishes from Dresden, Germany

    Ronny S.

    Deutsche Fassung:

    Hallo,

    unser Storage mit DSS V6, 6.0up90.8101.5845 64bit, ist bisher 2 mal scheinbar abgestürzt.

    Jetzt wollen wir den Fehler finden und korrigieren, aber die Ereignisanzeige zeigt in dem Reiter "Fehler" nur Code, Buchstaben, Zahlen, wie z. B.

    -> "[<ffffffff80249970>] ... (0/1)" und
    -> "[8173640.908313] Code: 80 79 2c 00 ba 0e 00 00 00 79 24 44 0f b6 81 ac 00 00 00 89 51 28 48 c7 c6 12 2d 21 A0 48 C7 C7 ... (0/1)"

    Hier ist ein Screenshot davon:

    http://www.abload.de/image.php?img=e...ger01f4yiy.png

    Dies ist trifft jedoch nur für den Reiter "Fehler" zu, nicht aber für "Alle", "Warnungen" und "Informationen".

    Irgendwelche Tipps oder Anregungen?

    Hinweis: Ein Neustart ist nicht so einfach, da darauf 12 VMs (Server und Clients), produktiv laufen.

    You need to check your Memory (RAM) health, by running the MEMTEST tool ( but that needs to reboot, as the memtest is the first option will appear to you after reboot).

    We also recommend you to check your RAID Controller health, and be sure that you already updated it's firmware.
