iSCSI & Bare-metal recovery
Hey there,
IŽam testing Open-e V6 Lite for replacing our actual Windows 7 backup solution, and need some tips how to do it right. Here is what I basicly want to do:
Every physical machine has an iSCSI target to make an image of the OS, this is working so far. But the iSCSI device will not be recognized when booting a physical machine via WindowsRE, and for this I want to find the easiest and the less time consuming way when using Open-E. Creating WindowsPE for every phys. machine is no option...
From my point of view it would be the best to copy the data from the iSCSI target to a dynamic attached volume, and then attach this volume to the destination machine, and start the recovery. Is this a good way, if yes how do I archive this?
Thanks in advance!
