Default DSS 7 FCoE with Intel 82599ES

    Hello open-e community,

we using DSS7 in our storage environment. Today I want to test FCoE performance. But the open-e software doesnt found a FC HBA.
    We installed the following NIC:
    Supermicro AOC-STGN-i2S with Intel 82599ES
    ftp://ftp.supermicro.com/CDR-NIC_1.3...C-STGN-i2S.pdf
This NIC supports FCoE. Our Windows Server have the same NIC and it works fine.

What I have to do to activate the FCoE function? Is it possible?

    Thank you for any help

    best

Currnetly we do not have the FCoE feature, it is being looked into but no set date as to when this will be released. The Intel NIC should work and be seen in the DSS V6 or V7, if not please submit a support ticket and we will looked to see why it is not being seen.
    All the best,

    Todd Maxwell

Thank you for your fast feedback. I see the Intel NIC. But only as normal NIC, not FC HBA. But you dont have the fcoe feature, so ts ok.
