Default Lost iSCSI Connection and cannot reconnect

    Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me. We've inherited a pair of servers running DSS v6 with a client we're working with, which were connected to a Windows Server 2008 R2 server via iSCSI Initiator. I say were, as the connection dropped earlier today and I have not been able to reconnect.

I have no experience at all of configuring iSCSI devices, so I'm looking for a bit of guidance. When I run iSCSI Initiator, if I enter the IP address of the box running DSS it doesn't return any targets. I can ping the IP address and browse to the DSS interface, so I can't work out where the problem lies. Like I said, I have no experience of configuring iSCSI so if anyone is able to point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful.

    Cheers,

    James

Can you go to the DSS GUI in Maint. > Connections and see if there are any systems connected to the iSCSI Target?
    All the best,
