Thread: Active/Active one SAN is dead what now?

  1. #1

Question Active/Active one SAN is dead what now?

    Hello,
We had one SAN die on us tonight. Not sure maybe only a restart would do the trick we will go to the DC in a few hours.
I am concerned about the data integrity, can i just restart the failed SAN? Since it holds old data we need to wait till they are synced ofcourse.
What would be the proper way to reboot and reactivate the active/active cluster.
Main question, i dont want the crashed server to be active till we see all is synced and stable.
Please advice since the manual is not explicit on this (will read again)

For anyone also searching for this found the answer:

Basically i read, restart and wait till all is synced then press move to local
