Default Is there a way to monitor the status of the RAID arrays for my metadata controller?

    Hi All,

I have received a number of the following dss7 notifications:

Rebuild of RAID MD0 finished successfuly on host dss7.

    /dev/md0:

    Version : 00.90.03

    Creation Time : Mon May 13 09:19:11 2013

    Raid Level : raid1

    Array Size : 62522624 (59.63 GiB 64.02 GB)

    Device Size : 62522624 (59.63 GiB 64.02 GB)

    Raid Devices : 2

    Total Devices : 2

    Preferred Minor : 0

    Persistence : Superblock is persistent

    Update Time : Sun Aug 3 03:41:16 2014

    State : active

    Active Devices : 2

    Working Devices : 2

    Failed Devices : 0

    Spare Devices : 0

    UUID : 1b543db2:1780f6f5:d0f7558a:99a013ef (local to host dss12743229)

    Events : 0.448

    Number Major Minor RaidDevice State

    0 8 32 0 active sync /dev/sdc S002 (SN: 130979400412)

    1 8 16 1 active sync /dev/sdb S001 (SN: 130979401599)

This makes me concerned that maybe the drives in my RAID are dying. Is there a way monitor these drives through the web GUI?

    Thanks for the help,
    Morgan

    Default

If you are using Software RAID function then use the S.M.A.R.T function that is also described in the manual also information can be found in the logs as well under the software RAID.
    All the best,
