    Default Virtual DSS VS Physical

We about to test Active-Active iscsi and where wanting to know what is the better solution DSSV7 active-active virtual servers or DSSV7 active-active Physical servers. What are the benefits and negatives of both. Has anyone got DSSV7 active-active virtualised and comments on performance

    Thanks

    Hi "gharding",

From what I have seen is that the Physical performs better but this when to many virtual machines are in a hypervisor, but it does save money when you use the active/active in a virtual environment. The latest 5.5 ESX seems to be better then the past versions on what you can do to improve the performance like with the caching but I have not done any tests yet with this setup. That's all that I can point out for now.
    All the best,

    Todd Maxwell
