Default Access denied for MAC (SMB)

    Hi,

We have many problems with OSX and your system Open-e.
Each MAC use SMB but sometimes when i create a directory, i can't access inside (from Windows or Mac)...
User MAC is the same as Windows user, so i don't understand why we have this problem.
    Can you help me ?

    Best regards.
    Charlie

Was there a support ticket submitted on this question? Also can you provide more details to this as it is lacking much information. Maybe best to send the DSS logs to support and let us know if you are meaning files and folders you are not able to see with via smb and not able to see via the terminal or Finder and what version of OSX you are running and what authentication you are using and was it working before and or is this a new install...........
    All the best,

Time of errors match errors from MAC.
We have several version OSX 10.8.5 10.9 10.9.5, and for each MAC we have same problem...

    Thank you for your help.
    Best regards,
    Charlie

    Charlie,

What authentication method are you using? What happens when you create a new share then have Windows connect to it and send files to that share and see if another Windows and or MAC will see the files. Was this working before?

    Hi To-M,

    Authentification method :
    - Windows : net use Y: \\10.1.1.15\prod-share /user:user pwd /PERSISTENT:YES
    - Mac: smb://user@10.1.1.15/prod-share
And yes, before it worked correctly. But we had problem with AFP on MAC and we used SMB...
I will proceed to create new share and test with Windows/MAC users.

    Best regards,
    Charlie.

We have video showing how to use with AFP and DSS, see if this helps and if not maybe best to get the logs and send them to our support team.
