System frozen
My system suddenly frozen after almost 2 years of uninterruptly work with an error quite cryptic.
Is it caused by some pending hardware failure? Or by software?

Thank in advance.

This is a duplicate post from http://forum1.open-e.com/showthread.php?4122-dss7-issue and has been responded to.
All the best,
Todd Maxwell
I'm very sorry... but when I click your link I get an error: "Invalid Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator."
My first post was in forum1.open-e.com when I realized that there is a kind of dead forum (there, last post was on 03-17-2014)... and there I cannot see my first post!
After, I come in here (forum.open-e.com) where I think ther is the real OPEN-E forum and I post the same message... in fact my number of posts is 1
Please, could you put the answer in this forum instead?
Federico M.
Frederico,
I see what you mean, strange that this happened, thanks for informing me. Answering your question are you on the latest version of the DSS V7? This error can come from older kernel version so updating to the latest release can help.
All the best,
Todd Maxwell
Hi Todd,
the reason because I post my first message in forum1.open-e.com is because I landed there from a GoogleSearch and, while I was there, I decided to login and post there...
By the way, version is: 7.0up10.9101.7637 64bit (Release date is: 2013-04-10)
and it's not the latest version... any special advice or reccomandation before update ?
Current version is 7.0up12.9101.10529 64bit
