Question remove volume (LUN0) from iscsi target

    Hello folks,

I hope you can help me with some ISCSI related question.

I'm having two volumes in one ISCSI target (e.g. lv0003/LUN0 and lv0101/LUN1). The data of lv0003 has been copied to lv0101. Since lv0003 is not needed anymore I wanted to delete lv0003, but Open-E tells me "Please note that in order to access iSCSI-enabled data from an initiator, the target needs to have a LUN 0, otherwise the data in all other LUNs will be inaccessible.". I want to avoid losing access to lv0101...

Is there a way to circumvent this problem? Can the LUN be changed somehow later?

    Thanks a lot in advance!

    Regards,
    Lostsoul

    Default

Yes, just remove the LV0003 from the Target by using the Detach button then Detach the LV0101 then re-Attach again and set to LUN 0.
    All the best,

    Todd Maxwell
