Thread: Network Interface order

  1. #1

    Default Network Interface order

    Hi,

Can you help me please. I have a clean install of DSS 7.0up16.9101.16323 64bit .

Is it possible to change the network interface order as mine seems to be in a very messy order.

    I'm running a HP DL380 G8. It has 4 onboard ports (Broadcom). A dual 10GBPS card and a 4 -Port Intel 82850 Card.

    I currently have:

    eth0-eth2 as Broadcom.
    eth3 as Intel
    eth4 as Broadcom
    eth5-6 as Dual 10GBPS
    eth7-9 as Intel

I can live with it but its messy.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I see in the forum an article which mentions a tool/patch to rename interfaces.

Are you able to provide me with a link to this.

    Thanks
