May be anyone can help with my issue.
After creation iSCSI target on DSS v6 and connecting it to Windows Server 2003 R2 as a dynamic disk everything is fine for some time.
But then i see errors in windows log files "The initiator could not send an iSCSI PDU. Error status is given in the dump data" (eventid 7) and "Connection to the target was lost. The initiator will attempt to retry the connection" (eventid 20). Some time later I discover iSCSI target is been detached.
You might want to check the network connection to see if there are any lost packets either from the RX or TX side of the Windows or DSS side. From the DSS side you can download the log file from the GUI in Status > Hardware then click the Download button and look at the tests.log file in the section of ifconfig -a and see if there are any dropped packets. Or you can submit a support ticket and we will check for you.
We do not use any firewall functions in our products. Make sure you are not suing CHAP or the Allow and Deny on the iSCSI Target. If it was working before and then recently for some time check if you can ping the DSS from the Windows system. You might want to submit a support ticket if all else fails so we can investigate the problem.
