    Default Failover Active-Passive NAS

    Hello,

I'm using open-e for my file server, and now i want to setup a NAS failover Active-Passive, i'm running DSS 7.0 up16, and when i setup the failover i can't access my data when i clic on move to the other node in the mains page of failover.

    Any suggestions ?

Be sure your NFS connections are only on the Virtual IP being used in the failover configuration.

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply i resolved the problem, but i have another one, when i move from master node to slave node in failover, in client NFS shares, i can't access them, i need to umount/mount again the share (that is shared with the VIP of failover). is there a solution for that ?

    Best regards

Before moving your NFS resources over to the other Node are your NFS clients able to Ping the VIP?
    All the best,

update to the latest release if possible.
you may also turn on the fsid functionality (console tools ctrl-alt-w -> Tuning options -> NFS fsid options), this may help. You did create the shares on the second node correct?
