Open-E JovianDSS update 19 with Ethernet HA Cluster option
The update 19 for the ZFS-based Open-E JovianDSS is available and can be downloaded on the Open-E website. The major feature in this update is the support for the Open-E JovianDSS Advanced Metro HA Cluster Feature Pack thanks to which users can build a HA Cluster over Ethernet. Apart from this, the following new features have been added:
SMART attributes for all disks in log files
"Clear error counters" function for Zpool
For more info, go to Open-E website and read the Release Notes >>
As the Ethernet HA Cluster Feature Pack "also supports configurations of the Open-E JovianDSS Standard HA Cluster Feature Pack" - is it possible to build the dual-site system with storage processor node and data redundancy simutaneously? I attached the picture. If yes, how many Metro HA Feature packs I will need: 2 or 1?
This is a N-Way node cluster, currently we have only 2 way node cluster. We will be working on this N-Way cluster feature with the JovianDSS most likely first part of next year.
