Not all is lost!!! I have an update for the Target IP Access. Please send me an email and I will forward this onto to you. Just update thru the Web GUI.

The USB is far superior in many ways compared to the IDE DOMs. Faster, 4 times the capacity and quicker updates.

I just loaded iSCSI Enterprise 1.72 build (newly configured) and the MaxBurstLength is set to 262144 in "Tuning -> iSCSI Daemon Options" and this is the same for DSS, iSCSI-R3 Enterprise as well.

Concerning the MaxRecvDataSegmentLength - The default value should be 8192 not the maximum value 262144.

Not sure about the "Mac OSX Initiator Support" issue as we have many customers working.
There is even a member in the forum who is working fine without issues.

Not sure if you new this but 3Ware had a big issue in there knowledge base about the 9550 and 9560’s. I had several customer call me to let me know as soon as they changed to Areca they improved drastically.

Don't forget to email so I can give you the update to fix the IP issues - todd.maxwell@open-e.com
Thanks. I don't need the Target IP thing anymore, but I'll email you if I ever do. Appreciate it.

You might have misunderstood. The default values for "Max Burst" and "First Burst" start out as the right values. The problem is the actual text that tells you what the default is. That is where there are typos. It says 262214, and 65536 are the default values. So if you ever change it and later want to go back to the default, you'll enter in the wrong values thinking the defaults are those two values. It's of no consequence to me now, since I know about it. But this could screw up other users who are unaware.

Where can I find the knowlege base article on 3ware? I searched 9550 and went through them all. Didn't see anything that relates to this. Thanks.
