Hi all,

I'm playing around with Open-E DSS V7 SOHO for my homelab as virtual storage appliance on VMware Free Hypervisor (ESXi 6.5) and have some issues:

  1. With Internet Explorer 11 it isn't possible to create local groups. The Web-UI is switching to the share settings.
  2. In ACLs with Windows clients it isn't possible to select the local groups on the DSS. You can only select the users.
  3. In ACLs with Windows clients I don't see the access rights I set for a share via Web-UI
  4. The group Everyone has full access rights and can change the rights via Windows clients.


Does anyone know these issues and has solutions?
