Default please help can't access bios on hpdx6100

I simply can't access my hp dx6100 slim tower bios. Therefore i can't boot the machine. it originally bleeped once when turning on and came up with a message stating system error with the drive and to check cables. Did this and managed to access bios after disconnecting floppy drive and booted the comp'. However changed setting to boot from harddrive and when i turned the comp' off and then on again it simply would not allow me to access bios once more and won't recognise any key! To make matters worse now when i turn it on it just comes up with something that looks like machine code and a couple of 'f' options, which you can't access because nothing happens when you use keyboard(and the keyboard works fine) does anyone have the knowledge to help? have disconnected all drives and reset cmos, nothing works, any idea's??

Try re-flashing the HP BIOS. Not sure if your BIOS is failing, after that not sure other then to contact HP.
    All the best,
