    Default Zpool limitation

    Hello,

We have 2 Metro HA JovianDDS cluster. Each Jovian server has 4x 1.9 TB SSD and 2x 300 GB Sata.
We created 2 Zpool with 2x local SSD disken en 2 remote SSD disk. The reason is that we want 2 active, active nodes.
Now we want the snapshot on the 300 Gb disken. Zo we have tried to create an Zpool with the 300 Gb disk but the systems says that there is a limitation.
You can only make 2 Zpool in a cluster. Is there an reason for? and can this be changed in an other realease.

    Regards,

    Michael

    Hi,

The amount of Zpools in a cluster is limited by design of JovianDSS.
Developers are looking into possibility to add more zpools in cluster.

That means that if you want active / active node with SSD and the snapshots on the cheaper storage (sata instead of SSD) that is not possible?

I hope that they fix this shortcoming in the next release.
