Default Smart status with broadcom controller

How do I check the SMART status of the drives in the Open-E cluster ?
Since the drives are actually part of a hardware RAID, what is the process so i can see the status of the drives using something like storcli ?

Hi Oli - When using a RAID controller for the drives you have to create the RAID Array to your Volumes you will not get SMART info, this only works for Software RAIDS with DSS V7 or JovianDSS. Now you can get the logs and get the MegaRAID logs in the LOG file when you download the logs from the GUI in DSS V7. There is also a log called "RAID Info.txt" that has all the Array and controller info and some diagnostics.

I forgot to add look for the "mrmonitor.log" as well if using any of the LSI/Avago/Broadcom controller. Areca and others will be listed but in a different name but you will be able to see them except for the HP logs.
    All the best,
