Since newer version open-e is merging the usernames with the name of the domain. This is very helpfull for some cases, but the "UID & GID synchronization" for NIS-server is not working anymore!
Users like: DOMAIN+username does not exist on my NIS-Server and so the synchronization fails
Is it possible to implement a winbind default domain feature to switch to a simplified userlist?
What version where you running and did you try to use the import UID/GID. Did you send this to support@open-ecom - not sure if this is a duplicated issue?
