Port Multiplier

Hello All,
I’m setting up a new system with DSS.
I did some testing with the Demo, and had good results.
I’m using a Norco DS-1220 Sub-System with two port multipliers each with 5 drives and two stand alone channels.
And a Norco-4629 4 port controller.
I tested the card with the demo and it worked well, but I did not have the DS-1220 drive cage with the port multipliers at that time.
The problem I am having is that only the 4 primary drives are showing (the primary drive for the each of the port multipliers and each of the stand alone channels) but not any of the sub drives.
Has anyone tried this before, or know of a work around?

The Linux driver for your SATA card must support Port Multipliers. And then of course Open-E would have to incorporate that driver.
