THanks for that information, unfortunately remote snapshot control isn't really what I'm looking for.
With DPM 2010 and a VSS provider I can take simutanious snapshots of my individual hyper-v VMs from my cluster which are stored on my DPM 2010 storage array. This allows for restoring into different environment and item level recovery.
As DPM 2010 is our backup solution the lack of a VSS provider is still causing us to limit our backups to serial and using redirected access for storage access which causes performance issues across all VMs whilst any backup is in progress.
Is a VSS provider still a possibility?
