    Default VSS provider

    Hello, To-M!

    Any improvement in the subject?

For us it is very important question. We are use Open-E DSS and plan to migrate
most of our file-services to the NAS, but VSS feature is important for our users and today we could not cancel Windows based storages...

    Thank you for any information.

As stated before this is ETA for March of 09 but this is depending on many factors, it could be longer.

Thank you for the information! But it's stated March '08 before, not March '09... ;-)

    Default Latest on VSS Support

Is there any further news on the release of this functionality in DSS? It is preventing us considering DSS for a server virtualisation platform.

We have VDS ETA'd late this year possibly in the next 3 months and VSS is not estimated yet.
