    Default OPEN-e not responding

    Hi,

    Today I restart my open-e NAS due to some reasons (i was not able to copy data into it)
    but after rebooting screen stucked on loading 98%.
    I am unable to open its web interface also but ping response is ok.
    Please suggest some solution as I am new to Open-e server.

    What version of NAS-R3 Enterprise are you using? Are you using a RAID controller and can you check the RAID health in the RAID BIOS? You can try to restart the system and after POST enter the "Escape key" to access the menu and try with option of Single Processor mode or Rescue mode.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reply.
    I am a new user for open-e NAS server.

    My NAS details are :

    Model: Data Storage Server
    Release date: 2007-05-30
    Version:1.21.DB00000000.2722.

    Now I am able to connect my server but its responding slow.
    Please suggest some solutions

    You can check the Raid consistency in Raid controller BIOS - you should be able to enter the BIOS while your motherboard starts.

    Can you check system booting also without Ethernet cable inserted to NIC ?

    I recomend updating to the latest version 1.37, you must register product on www.open-e.com in "service and support" section so you will have possibility to download ISO update for your module. Then you will be able to use IDE or USB CD/DVD to update the module.
