I'm asking this because i have the following (i think) hardware driver related problems;
1) During booting i get the following messages;
Loading...
PCI: Unable to handle 64-bit address space for
PCI: Unable to handle 64-bit address space for device 03:01.0
PCI: Unable to handle 64-bit address space for
PCI: Failed to allocate resource 0(0-0) for device 03:01.0
Moving the 3Ware 9550SX to another PCI-X bus changes the "device 03:01.0" to device 03:02.0)
2) When booted and i'm logged in the web interface going to status->hardware i see at controller info;
3) When there is no raid config created the controller is not recognized and the 3DM tools are not available. When a raid config is created in the bios the controlller is recognized and the tools are available.
My server hardware configuration is;
Intel Entry Server Board SE7221BK1-E mainboard (bios version P07) with 1Gb ram and a Celeron D 2.66Ghz CPU
3Ware 9550SX-8LP controller (version 9.3.0.3)
Are you receiving the PCI error messages after POST and before the Open-E Screen appears?
If you create a RAID set from the 3Ware controller are you able to see in Disk Manager the assigned VG0? If you are can you then create a LV00 and access the Share?
I'm receiving the PCI error messages after POST and before progress bar. When I create a raid set. I'm able to see the assigned VG0. I can create a LV and create the share. Also the 3DM tools are available.
