Where does DSS Lite save the config

Hi!

Simple question.

I booted with a freshly installed (by the Setup) USB-Stick and i did pick up my network settings. No other units (hard drives) were available at this time in volume manager.

CMOS, Online, ...

Where did it get the settings?
BTW, i had to activate again.

The config is stored on the USB and the system partition of the volume. You can also save and download this in MAINTENANCE -> miscellaneous -> Function: Save settings.
