Default DSS no Boot, Error Message no USB Module found.

    I have follow problem.

after inserted a Open-e DSS Module in USB internal Port, the Open-e boot CD "ISOBOOT4USB" and the "DSS_BAS Boot CD", i get follow error message by boot: Error. no USB module found.

The same server Intel SR2300 boot fine with USB NAS-R3 Enterprise.

Does anyone have in the past the same problem or experience about that ?

What version is the DSS and what is the version of the NAS-R3 Enterprise. Are you able to boot this on another system. Do you see DSS USB in the BIOS of the Intel SR2300?

    Todd,

NAS-R3 is v4.32, by the DSS i test with both latest Release v1.32 and v1.37 but same result in the SR2300

--->>> Are you able to boot this on another system.
YES, i test the DSS in another PC wich can selected in Bios Boot from USB, and this work fine.

--->>> Do you see DSS USB in the BIOS of the Intel SR2300?

YES, i see the DSS Module in the SR2300 in POST Bios, but both Boot CD are unable to find the Module by Boot.

I am not happy here, i Order the Module for our Customer, and i must lost the Problem.

Do you have another ideea to solve the problem ?

So the DSS fully boots but with another system but not the Intel SR2300. If the DSS can be seen in the BIOS then try after POST enter the escape key and select the "Testing mode" function to see if this helps. I will admit this is very strange as the NAS-R3 Enterprise is of the same build as the DSS. There is a newer release of the DSS that I can provide you. Please email me and I will provide you access to this release and it is not beta.
    All the best,
