Hi!

To calm things down a little bit i start with positive feedback. :-)

I am very impressed by the broad HW support (Controller and Network)

I threw a lot of HW at the software,
Nics from Intel, Broadcom, 3Com, Realtek
Controller from ICP, Adaptec, QLogic, LSI-Logic
Everything worked perfectly with impressive performance

I also have 4-5 Adaptec (DPT) 2400A PATA Raid (I2O) Controller available. This was the only HW i could find which crashed DSS-Lite (hangs) after a short time.

The controller never was the best choice, but i thought i might finally be able to put them to some use.

Anyone actually using this controller type?
Or is it just my HW combination which has problems?
