Default DSSLite and Hardware Raid controler Adaptec 2410SA

    Hello all,

now I'm using an Adaptec SATA Raid Controler 2410SA with 4 500GB HDD
    attached. I built a RAID5 volume

But in Configuration Volume Manager I get the feedback no Volumes found.

If I attach a USB HDD I can find this unit after rescan.

    What can I do?

Check to see if you are seeing the Adaptec from the GUI Status > hardware also from console screen try CRTL + ALT + R to access the RAID controler. What firmware version are you using latest is "b8209" - Adaptec Serial ATA 2410SA firmware update version
    b8209 .
    All the best,

At the console with C A R I can see the raidadapter and unse the console tools.
My firmware is 7244. I will try to update to the latest fw.
You think it will solve the problem?

    Hi,

now I updated the firmware, but I still can't see any units in the volume manager.
Do you have some othe ideas, what I can try. Currently I'm running out
    of ideas :-(

Because on the console with C A R I can configure the raid an see the status.
And I think DDS supports this raid controller, right?

are the units also part of the registration? If so, I'm running out of time.

    Thanks in advance
