    I doubt the machine is running out of memory, since it's got 16GB of RAM. As for running xfs_repair, I'd rather not do so unless it's absolutely necessary, since it would require bringing the NAS down temporarily.

    I've sent the log files as you suggested, though.

    We ended up deleting the snapshot volume, upgrading to the latest DSS, then re-creating the snapshot volume. That seems to have fixed the problem.

    we are now using Version 5.0.DB46000000.3084.

    What is your running version ?

    The latest version of DSS is 5.0.DB47000000.3216
    Could you tell me the version that you had upgraded from.

    We're currently running ver. 5.0.DB47000000.3178. I believe we upgraded from 5.0_42 build 3007.

    If the snapshot was created prior to the update. Try deleting the snapshot and then recreating it.
    If the snapshot is assigned to a task, then manually starting the snapshot will result in an error
    If this does not help, please download the system log files and sent to support@open-e.com
    STATUS -> Hardware -> Function: Logs.
