After resetting, the DSS system came up with a red text warning saying "System Corrupted!" I tried moving the DSS module to another USB header and got the same thing. Next I tried booting from the demo CD and that worked OK, however, all my Logical Volumes (LV's) were missing. The Promise EX8350 RAID controller shows up and I'm able to see my RAID volume and its status is OK/Healthy.
Next I tried taking the DSS module to another machine and it booted fine. So the last thing I tried is putting the DSS module back and booting into recovery mode and that worked.
Now I'm booted up but nothing is there like before. I'm wondering if I should be using the utilities in the "Extended Tools Menu" to "Repair Filesystem on LV" or "Resotre LVM VG" or one of the other options? I do not want to risk losing any of the data on this RAID since the majority is not backed up anywhere else.
