Currently only available logs are provided internally within our GUI or use the email to send notifications to the administrator in case of any significant events, critical errors, warnings, etc. This is located in the GUI from SETUP -> administrator -> Function: E-mail notification.
Is external syslog support on the schedule for DSS? I would say that this feature is more a must than a nice to have. Just think about central logfile aggregation and analysis servers in bigger shops... Likewise goes for SNMP: I would love a complete Open-E MIB with support for redundancy status, single disk failure and so on.
