ISCSI Persistent Drives.

Am I doing something wrong ??

I set up a ISCSI drive with CHAP and checked "automatically restore this connection when the system boots". The drive was mapped as Drive E: (Dynamic).

Shut down and reboot.

On reboot MS iSCSI can see the drive and restores the connection ... however I have to go into Disk Manager and "reactivate the drive".

No very persistent from my way of thinking.


OS = Windows XP, SP2, MS ISCSI 2.6.
Open-e DSS-Lite.

The problem is Windows doesn't automatically mount dynamic volumes... You'd need to write yourself a script to do that.
