Install the Adaptec Storage Manager on a Windows system then connect to the DSS IP address - use the Internal RAID connection from the Adaptec Storage Mangager.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I made that change in the Adaptec Bios settings. CTRL-A during boot.
Then select a slower sync speed for the ID where the loader is connected.

Similar steps in this link: http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/234316.htm
    I changed mine from 80 to 40MB/s

Here is the setup for the Adaptec, you will need to install the ASM on a Windows system:

    1. Use the Adaptec Storage Manager then Add then add next managed system
    2. Leave type "Managed system (Internal RAID)" and port "34,571"
    3. Enter "192.168.x.x" (your Open-E server IP) in Host name/IP addres
    4. Enter "raid" in "User name" and "Password" entry
    5. Push connect.
The software should be on the CD that came with the Adaptec card.
    All the best,
