    Default Support for additional 10GbE-Cards

    Hello,

we like to build an iSCSI-SAN based on a Super Micro board, Areca Raid-Card and a 10GbE-Card.

I know the current Product Compatibility List of Open-E, but I like to know what additional actual 10GbE-Cards are supported.

Like the Intel 82598EB 10 Gigabit Ethernet Controller (PCI express), Chelsio 10GbE-Cards with PCI express and TOE like S320E-CXA.
In general: Are the SmallTree-Cards supported?

    Thank you for your answers.

    Best regards

We have support for the Intel 82598EB (PCI express). Concerning the Chelsio 10GbE-cards we are waiting for Chelsio to develop their driver to work with 2.6.25 kernel and this will take them 6 weeks. Currently we don’t support TOE, we might after the latest driver from Chelsio but we will need time to test. The Chelsio 10GbE family uses the same driver for the S320E-CXA so yes this will work.
    All the best,

    Todd Maxwell
