Default Expanding disk space on Raid server

I have an open-E Enterprise iscsi server with hardware RAID1 (2x73GB) and I am running out of disk space for my SQL databases. If I replaced one of 73GB disks with a 300GB disk let it re-mirror and then did the same for the other 300GB disk. Would I be able to use the additional disk space for another VG or extend the VG?

    Default

To expand an existing Volume Group and your existing RAID Set. Migrate your new drives using your controller’s instructions on how to do this properly. Once this is completed go to the Extended Tools console screen of the iSCSI Server by entering ctrl. + alt. + x select PV Resizing and select the new size. Then go to the GUI and you will see the new VG, you can add this to the existing VG0 or create a new VG.
    All the best,
